　　he world is not only hungry,but also is short of thewater.This may sound strange for 70% of the surfaceof the use is covered by water.But 97% of this is seawater or soft water.Man can only use the other 3%fresh water that country rivers,lakes and from otherground and we can't ever use all of that becausesome of them are the iceberges and glaciers. What'sworse, some of the fresh water has been polluted.Ourneed of water is increasing rapidly day by day. So we should take the measures to solve theproblem.

　　As a polite student,we shouldn't talk at class.If we have questions,we should put up our hands.We also shouldn’t speak loudly during the break.And I think it’s impolite to be late for class.When someone is in trouble ,we shouldn’t laugh at them.We should often say “please”,”thank you”.

　　Our school had a sports meeting last week. Eleven classes took part in it. The weather was sunny and warm, and the whole playground was quite exciting.

　　In the boys' relay race, Class 6 fell behind at first. But the second runner Li Lei ran faster than any other runner.

　　Then he caught up with others little by little.

　　At last, their classmate, Wang Lin passed the finishing line first. Besides, Li Lin from Class 7 broke the school record for 100-meter race and Class 11 won the team title. The headmaster gave the prizes to the winners.

　　I was so pleased to hear from you and am writing to tell you something about my school. You are right. Quite a few changes have taken place. On one side of the road there is a new classroom building.

　　On the other side, where the playground used to be now stands another new building-our library. In it there are all kinds of books, newspapers and magazines. The playground is now in front of the school.
