　　开学典礼上，章校长在讲话中用了两个鲜活的例子诠释了“社会责任感”这个概念，引发了大家对此的深思和热议。

　　社会责任感是一种复杂的品质，简单说就是每个人在心理和感觉上对其他人的关怀和义务，如有道德、守法、愿意为他人作出牺牲等。

　　许多人认为，只要管好自己和自己社交圈子里的事就好了，何必要在乎社会上的其他陌生人？其实这种观点是很狭隘的，因为社会不单单是无数个独立个体的集合，更是一个不可分割的整体。没有人可以独立生存，而社会责任感就决定了一个人的幸福感。

　　公民幸福指数高达82%的加拿大，就是一个社会责任感很强的国度。在其他欧美国家都想方设法禁止流浪者在街头睡觉时，加拿大的街头上随处可见流浪汉休息的长椅、帐篷，也有很多社会福利机构会专门为无家可归的人提供衣食住宿和医疗服务。我想，可能正是这种良好的社会责任感才使得加拿大同时也成为了全球犯罪率最低的国家吧？

　　再来看看美国。美国社会在大多数人眼中应该是幸福、发达的，其主要原因是经济负担小？制度完善？生活环境好？我想都不是。在我看来，最主要的原因还是整个社会自上而下的责任感。记得我有一次去美国游玩，有天傍晚坐在一个广场的长椅上乘凉。旁边好像有人抽烟，我当时没放在心上，甚至都没注意到旁人的存在，只是下意识地挥了挥手扇去烟味。可是他看见了，立马熄了烟，还向我道歉。试想一下，生活在这种人与人之间彬彬有礼、彼此关怀的.社会中，一定是幸福的。
